Early model block w/ late model T-5?
Early model block w/ late model T-5?
I found a really good deal on a short block, and want to replace my 305, with this 355, but it is an early 80's block and I know there is some problems with this working. What are the problems, I've always been told it was the flywheel, but I want to know for sure. BTW this is all going in a 1992 Camaro!

The only change you have to deal with is the flywheel, if it truely is an 80-85 motor. if not the other parts would be a left hand dipstick (67-79). Otherwise it will bolt right in.
