i put a TPI on my 2nd gen camaro. it has a new crate engine in it. the engine must have come with different year heads because the 4 center bolts did not match up. i did not want to change out the heads so i just ground out the bolt holes on the manifold so it would fit. i have had no problems with it so far but im planing on changing out my manifold to a higher performance one. are there any that i can get where i will not have to grind out the olt holes again? any help would be great.

 

Edelbrock has what you are looking for. Go to the Next Generation web site and look for it. Edelbrock has 2 types of manifulds 1) is for the newer type heads and 2) is for the older type heads. Good luck

Or get an 85 tpi baseplate, they work on old heads.

 

Most high performance bases are setup to accept both bolt patterns.
