Install miniram on milled AFR 195 heads. Double intake gasket?? what gasket to use.

The heads on this 383 are stage 3 ported, HUGE ports. And we are installed a brand new miniram on it. The gaskets that came with miniram arent even close to being big enough. What gaskets to use? plus it appears the heads are milled because the intake ports are kinda low. Is there any double thick gaskets we could use?

Wayquick,

Sounds to me like whoever milled your heads did not correct the intake face of the heads. You should ONLY have to use standard thickness intake gaskets. If you find that you have to use anything but standard gaskets (1204's, 1205, etc) then you have a problem with the heads themselves. I seriously doubt that the MiniRam is off. Sounds to me like they didn't correct your intake face on the heads.

I went and picked up a set of Felpro #1245, 1/8 inch thick gaskets and they seem to have fixed the problem.
