I was trying to follow the directions that were posted out here for adjusting the TPS, but it just talks about making jumpers between the TPS and the connector and reading the voltage. There are 3 wires, which wires am I supposed to be reading? No matter which wires I checked, I never got any readings even close to the suggested settings. Also, when I was trying to adjust the IAC, I put a jumper between A and B. When I did this, one of the cooling fans came on and I could hear something clicking up around the throttle body. WTF!

 

for the tps, check the upper 2 wires. make sure the key is turned on,, for this you dont need to jump the ALDL.
the fans should come on when you jump A and B for the IAC, the clickin near the TB is probably the IAC, since it is under the TB.

 

Is the IAC supposed to be doin that?
