Wouldnt be worth it, You would probably loose power with a stock setup.

No, you're not going to lose power. You might lose some in the lower rpms but you will more than make up for it in the high rpm range. You definitely will not see the full potential of the miniram with the stock heads and cam but you will see a gain. If you increase airflow, you increase power. It's the stock TPI intake that makes these motors fall on their face at 4500 rpms. the stock heads and cam are still good for at least 5000 rpm probably closer to 5500. So yes you will see a gain. The only thing I would recommend is a custom chip to make everything run smoothly.

TPIS claims 95 HP on a bone stock 85 Vette L98 with just the Mini-Ram! Im looking in my insider hints book and at 5250 RPM you gain 95.4 hp. Torque suffers only 22.2 ftlbs at 2750. But hay they only made and designed the thing so what would they know.

NOT VORTEC

they will not work with the mini-ram. I'f you're gonna do that just fast-burn's and a Ramjet intake. The vortec heads have different shaped runners and will not bolt up to a conventional intake manifold.

I'm the GMPP guy at Buz Post pontiac/GMC in Arlington, texas. I know what i'm talking about.
