Can 85-88 injectors be swapped into an 89-92 car?

Just as the subject says, I have some Multec's on my 92 Z/28 (305) that are leaking, can they be replaced with the older style injectors without any mods? If not, what mods are necessary (chip, o-rings)? I need to do this quickly and cheaply.

Thanks!
Jeff

If the injectors were from an 85-88 305, they will work in an 89-92 305 with no problems, no alterations. It's always a good idea to use new O rings when changing injectors. If you inspect the rings and they are not cut, abraded, damaged, or hardened, they might be O.K. to use again.
