I have a 1988 engine w/centerblot heads, do i need narrow body rockers?

I have centerbolt valve covers and wanna get roller rockers. I need narrow bodies, right?
Crane makes a set dont they? Does anyone else?

Yes, you do need the narrow body rockers with the centerbolt valve covers. Crane and Crower offer fully rollerized self aligning rockers. Comp Cams offers fully rollerized Pro Magnum and Magnum roller tip rockers that work.

I think you will need the self aligning narrow body rocker arm unless you have pushrod guide plates.

Self aligning rockers and guideplates dont mix. One or the other but you dont need both. I just bought GMPP roller rockers. Should work fine...

What heads do you have? That would help to answer the question concerning the rockers. I use Comp Cams Pro Magnums. They will fint under the stock covers with certain heads. An example of this is fitting under the covers with Edelbrock's without any grinding and not fitting under AFRs without grinding the webs.....
