Re: tpi swap
You'll need a high pressure fuel pump.
I used a Walbro 225lph on my 406 with 30# injectors, which is probably overkill. I placed the pump inside a sump-tank that is external to the gas tank. If your 85 has an internal fuel pump, you can swap that out with the high pressure one.
You could probably use a 195lph and be okay if you stay NA. There are formulas on the internet to calculate what you need using displacement, rpm, horsepower, etc.
Make sure you use the proper high pressure hose that is submersible in gasoline, (if you put the pump in the fuel tank) and use high pressure hose to the fuel rail at least 3/8 inch. You can use 5/16 inch return line if you like.
Search the internet. I got all my fuel system ideas on-line.
Your TPI fuel pressure regulator on the fuel rail will work fine (if the engine you're getting is complete.)
