car will not idle
sense i got this car a week ago its taken a long time to turn over, bout 2-3 sec. and it seems to be getting worse. now the car is so hard to start i crank and crank and then when it finally tries to start i have to give it some gas to get it to stay running as long as i keep my foot on the gas it run perfect.it does not take much just the slightest touch keeps it running .if i let it idle MOST of the time it dies or runs so bad it kills its self . can anyone help? i have a lot codes as well.22,24,32,33,34,44,54. all i have is basic hand tools no fancy stuff (volt meters etc.)

Re: car will not idle
Okay. All I have are 88 and 92 service manuals so I give you the info from my 88.
22 - TPS circuit low
24 - VSS circuit
32 - EGR circuit
33 - MAF circuit (gm/sec high)
34 - MAF circuit (gm/sec low)
44 - O2 sensor (lean exhaust)
54 - Fuel pump circuit (low voltage)
I don't know of anything that would cause all of those codes to show up at the same time which leads me to believe that it's ECM related.
Before replacing it though you REALLY NEED to get access to a volt meter.

Re: car will not idle
do you think it could be a fuel pump relay? ive heard on here that that could cause a few problems.
