Good sized injectors

What is a proper size injector for an engine creating around 650HP?

36lb/hour?

30lb/hr @ 55-60psi and .42-.45BSFC
36lb/hr too many to list
if you want it to be easy to tune go with the 36lb/hr you only need to run 40psu

A book I have says multiply horse power by .45 then divide by 8, use .55 if you are using supercharger.

What system are you planning to use EFI on? With SD or MAF, large injectors require very short pulse widths at low rpm which can cause a problem.

Also high impedence injectors like the TPI system have limits on the size of "affordable" injectors. Larger injectors are available, but get expensive.

You might want to post this question on the PROM Board and ask "Will I have problems with TPI making 650 HP"?

I believe you will find a problem with the short pulse widths for idling, 650 HP will probably cause the MAF system to max out to 255 gm/sec at relatively low rpms, and SD probably will have problems with a low MAP.
