Swapping from EFI to a Carb in a Thirdgen

I have a question about removing the computer from a TPI setup when swapping to a carburetor. Doesn't the Computer control the fuel pump relay, and if so, how doo you get the fuel pump to kick in when it is supposed to? Thank You

OK, first of all can we say S T U P I D!! WHY would you want to swap TPI for a carb! Not only are you gonna lost LOTS of Gas Mileage, you will also have fun in the winter starting the car! There is ZERO advantage to swapping so why do it?? If you really want to swap, I'm like the last guy.....you send me the TPI and I'll send you a brand new 600 or 750 Edlebrock carb your choice!! 2nd...IF you are swapping to a carb (poor guy), you CANNOT use the TPI fuel pump!! A TPI fuel pump, pumps around 40PSI.....a carb/manual fuel pump, pumps around 4 PSI!! IF you do swap to the carb, you will have to disconnect the computer, the fuel pump relay, and disconnect the oil pump guage and switch to a mechanical oil guage! And of course put in a manual fuel pump! You can leave the electric pump in the tank....it will not cause a noticeable restriction in fuel flow! I hope this help but GOD MAN, DON'T SWAP!!
