Finally get my Code 33

As the title states, I finally have gotten my first
code 33 (MAF) ever with this car.. and the timing
couldnt have been any better.

It just did this 2 days ago... at a gas station.

I must stress I did search and I replaced CTS, the
MAF relay, the MAF connector and inspected the
MAF for damage, my sensor had been descreened.

As I start the car, itll throw the code 33 within
5-8 seconds of it running.. and itll idle terribly below
800rpm... I can hear it chugging and its very rich.
The car is UNDRIVABLE with it plugged it.

It runs alright, even in the upper rpm's.. but, itll stall,
gag, and fart with any kind of manuever or stress.

Sometimes it will surge really really bad, throwing the
car foward and back.. it looks ridiculously funny!

My real question is, why would it fail like out of blue?
Common?

I can drive the car with the MAF unplugged, but It
doesnt run too much better.. the only thing it doesnt
do is stall out.. it's very sluggish below 800rpm..

I tried testing the MAF with a voltmeter, but the
unit was glitching out on me.. I threw it away,
Ill get another one later today at work..

Also, no vacuum leaks detected..spark is
good and fuel is normal.

It's Definately not the same car.. The way it ran
before It was capable of high 13's..

Someone chip in, Im depressed.. and clueless
