how hard would this be????
I Want to take a small block 400 that is carbarated and has over 4oo horse power know how hard is it to tame my tpi motor out ??2 will my 700r4 trans work with the 400? my car is a 1986 z28 also what else do i have to do with the wiring ?? I know iam going to run a fuel cell

the 700r4 will work, but if the motor is over 400hp you will just destroy that tranny really quick, you will need to get it rebuilt with heavy duty bands/clutches etc., should only cost like $600-700
if youre leaving the motor carburated, you dont need any of the wiring going to the motor. youll have to swap the dizzy, and put a fuel pressure regulator to drop the psi to 5-8 for the carburator... there a section in the tech articles for swapping from tpi - carb
