TPI Unit off 305 for 350
TPI Unit off 305 for 350
I might get the tpi setup off my friends 305 out of his trans am. I know I need the harness and ecm along with the tpi unit.
I switch the 19# injectors for 22# and what else needs done to give the 350 enough fuel?
Also, whats a good price to pay. I figure I can offer him $150-200 for it and walk away with it. Is that good, bad? so-so?

A complete TPI including harness and computer typically sells for about $500 to $600. Other than the injector change, you will also need a different computer chip to adjust programming. The chip you choose will depend on how far you stray from the original L98 spec on heads, compression, exhaust, and cam. If you stay with a somewhat mild cam profile, you can get away with a L98 TPI profile. Otherwise, you'll want an aftermarket chip like one from Fastchips by Ed.
