hi everybody...... i would like to say that im glad to be apart of the third gen website.... ok..... im 19 years old and my dad bought me a 1988 5.7 trans am GTA as a graduation present...... i would say its in pretty good shape for its age..... i have a video of my car idling and i would like you guys to tell me what you think.... the only mods we've done to the car is full 3 inch flowmaster exhaust with high flow cat, msd ignition parts, k&n air filter and basically replaced all the worn stuff..... like the alternator brake booster tps switch etc.... i was wondering how much better would the car sound and perform if i put hedman long tubes headers(which i have but havent installed) powermax 2032 cam, AFPR, new springs, computer tune, rebuilt tranny with transgo shift kit and vette servo, higher stall converter and a tranny cooler....... could i acheive maybe 320 horsepower with this combo..... i need help.... here is the link for both videos oh and would that cam have any lope to it... or at least sound better than stock.... thanks

I'm not an expert, but I don't think you will get 320HP with that combo.

If your shooting for 320HP, I would use better flowing heads, high-flow intake manifold, large tube runners, and a bigger cam.

Dude, when I graduated, my dad gave me a slap on the back and said welcome to the real world. I wish he would have gotten me a GTA... would have saved me the money cause I ended up buying a 'Bird as a present to myself hahaha. Real nice car though, be proud of it.
