THE LOCKED THREAD MOVED TO HERE.....

FYI,
None of my claims were B.S. period. For those that want to go fast and still have faith, you are welcome to pick me for info and follow my progress. For the nay sayers, good luck.. you are on your own.

As you may know, I had b.s. called on me by several members here plus a moderator or two. Then I had an ultra-fast techy wizard tell me "no such thing as factory ford 9" 3.25 ratio gears" then I go on to post the OEM part numbers and site for reference...even though they have been commonly known about for years and years. Wonder what that crow tasted like. Then they cannot find a good reference for me to back my claims and nobody shows up to my door after I give specific directions to my house. hmmmm shoulda woulda coulda...
I was then told point blank that it was impossible to run my times with what equipment I had. You can see that two different people stated they would bet $500 against me being able to run over 124mph trapspeed with the camshaft I have...with no other stipulations. I called their bluff and even offered a teardown for another $500. They have since backpeddled with no appology after saying that the wager is a 'done deal'
I promise you that I have never been let off the hook that easy on a 'done deal' wager. So should I have sympathy for ignorance? or be majorly offended at the entire set of accusations against me?
Of course the moderator or administrator may have the entire thread erased to save face and attempt to negate the whole wager fiasco. Therefore the entire thread is moved to here

http://pub48.ezboard.com/bmwsr

and posted in the "trash talking" section. All invited to view and continue the thread if so desired.

Now for that reference that I was asked for. You can reach the MFBA via this link

http://ubb.mfba.org/cgi-bin/Ultimate...assCookie=true

check the "ODB I'm new here" post in the "almost anything goes" section of their message board. If not you can read the posts below (notice the dates)
I am new to MFBA but the reference was from before the flaming fiasco here.

Welcome to the MFBA. I can vouch for ODB. He definetly knows his stuff when it comes to making cars quick (as if you couldn't tell). Looks like the St. Louis crew is getting faster and faster!

GMnightmare, i knew that car when another dude owned it before Jim did way back in 91.
ODBs car is fast as hell, you see on that 10.3 pass there was more nitrous leaking before the plate then what was going into the motor. I think that if he had some et streets on the car and a fixed ntrous line he should have run deep in the 9s at around 140mph. This car can be driven anywhere, he takes it back home every year to N.Carolina a 600 mile one way trip. I think he told me that it got over 25mpg on the last trip.

Just wanted to say a few words about his car, because he's not telling the whole story. P.S. get some tires and stop going slow.

ODB - I don't race so I have no reason to disbelieve your times. If I were you I would just take them outta my signature to avoid a future frenzy that way nobody can argue about anything. It's a shame the way disagreements can turn into personal attacks, and I'm just as guilty of it as the rest of us. So let's all just do like we do here in the hills of east Tennessee. Let's just drink some Pabst Blue Ribbon, dip a little Skoal and watch TNN. While we're at it, maybe we can start another debate in the tranny section .

Guess what. My home town is Franklin NC. I drive back very often via I-40.
I agree taking the times out of my sig is the first thing to come to my mind also.
The only reason that I really want them there is because I am working on my own business making & testing my own performance parts/mods, and therefor really want the attention (especially the positive).
How far are you from Franklin or Gatlinberg TN?

well odb i know i don't know much and i get confused easily but you sure have all the qualities of a troll. you ought to work on that and you'll have a lot more fun here and make a lot more friends. i read the thread a couple of times and it was hard for me to keep up, but it seems you backed out of the bet and weren't up front about what you had. did you read the user agreement when you signed up here? it's suspose to be tech only, you should take post like these to macgyvers board www.nethirdgen.org

ede, please put my quote here where I seemed to have backed out of the bet. I was willing to answer all questions, so how is that not upfront? By continued questions and requests for even MORE info, my signature has grown out of proportion. What is being up front to you? you need to look it all over with a magnifying glass AFTER you talk some major smack to me? Please give me a break.

Don't make yourself look like a crybaby now. Just admit that the whole attack on me was complete and TOTAL B.S. mostly on the part of the moderators. Where in the agreement does it give the moderators the flaming feature?
And as far as tech stuff goes, there is now more tech info contained in my signature than the majority of this entire section.

I will be as nice as possible as long as I'm affording the same courtesy. Fair enough?

Well, this other post was locked for a reason. It was not deleted. I kept it up for the rest of the day for everyone that was following the thread to see what had expired, and it was stated ahead of time it would be locked at the end of the day. I made clear my opinions of you on this post, feel free to go back and read it. No apologies warranted. It has turned into non-tech, and doesnt belong here anymore.
