Plenum Porting Question
I'm looking for some opinions on whether it's advantageous or not to remove the "wall" right behind the throttle body in the plenum.

Thats usually the first thing to go, is that wall. Take it down so there is a smooth entry into the plenum. Cant do much else to fix GM's poor design other than that and grinding the sides a little there in the front too, but be careful I hear its thin on the sides. Other than that, just make sure the ports at the runners are the same size as the gaskets.
