Looking for references for ram/reversion tuning

I am looking for any reference/physics/performance books dealing with intake and exhaust tuning, in particular anything that clearly references and defines tube and ram tuning. I was told there was an excellent book published in the 80's named something like 'Scientific Design of intake and exhaust Systems' by Phillip Smith. Anyone know about this one or any others?

Also on a side note… I did not have the opportunity to engage in the whole The ODB fiasco, however I do want to add my two coppers. Please consider the following as an addendum to the closed threads, I just want to mention a few things so people can ponder a bit. I do not intend for this to begin a discussion.
For the guys against, you should all know some of us on the board have done the age old street racing BS, and that said, if you are going to start laying money down, you really should do your homework. Yes he was evasive in his responses, however, when I have some dolt stroll up to me in daddy's new car wanting to race, the first response out of my mouth is 'mostly stock' (this works particularly good with the SN-95). This is not necessarily a bad thing, I'm always open to some extra gas money. However, you all failed to ask the simplest questions because you forgot that you can't see the car. This is where the 'search' feature comes in handy, eh? That said I go to my second point..
For The ODB, I clearly remember you mentioning that you have no rear brakes on the car whatsoever, and after reading various other posts, had previously come to the conclusion that your car does not fit into the classical 'street car' mentality. Far be it from me to ruin your fun, but overall, I believe you handled it fairly well. Well, great for Saturday night racing, however you have to remember that you are on the net. If you can con a sap in the local hangout for a couple bills, that's all well and good, but on here no one can see your car. I will say you did a fine downplay, but you overdid it a tad. Were I you, I think I would be satisfied in knowing I could still con other street racers.
And that is that. I understand the transition from the real world to the net is difficult for most in areas like this, but the better BSers will take advantage of you b/c of this.

The book you are referring to (Scientific Design of Exhaust & Intake Systems by John C. Morrison & Philip H. Smith) is an excellent book! It actually contains data & formulas that books like "How to Hotrod Your SBC" don't even touch on.
You can find it here
