Replaced ignition module, now hissing from air intake, and egr holding vac. ???

90 speed density. I noticed a very abnormal hiss coming from the air intake. sounds like a super loud air leak. I'm thinking my EGR is messed up, since my scan tool reports 100% duty at all times at idle.

Also, I turned my vehicle off, and the brake booster line still had LOTS of vac on it when I went to remove it 10 minutes later! How is this possible? Its hooked into the rear driver side intake manifold port!

ahhhhhhhhhhh! HELP!

lol, thanks. I just figured that out! I ripped off the intake to find that the EGR is capped, and the solenoid is gone! I guess I will just take out the EGR valve, and send my prom back to PFL and have them reprogram it not to include an EGR valve .

The previous owner was a hack, and I'm fixing all his f-ups. Wonder if this is why its always ran rich?
