Please help! MAT wiring question

I recently discovered that the wiring to my manifold air temp sensor had been completely severed. I was able to locate the correct positive wire in the wiring harness, however here's my question: does the ground wire run to the ecm, or would I be ok just running a new wire to the grounding point on the back of the cylinder head? Thanks.

You might try using the wiring section at www.chevythunder.com. Good web site.

Re: Please help! MAT wiring question

The website verified that the MAT sensor ground goes back to the ecm.
Thank you, scuzz.

as on the site:
