Will 85-88 350 Fuel Injectors replace 1990 350 injectors?

Hey Guys,

I was doing some troubleshooting on my 1990 350 TPI IROC-Z, I found that one of my fuel injectors has some shorted coils causing a miss. I would like to replace all the injectors with new AC Delco units. According to my research the AC Delco replacement is part number 17112285, but I have heard that these are the MULTEC injectors that tend to have a high failure rate.

I would like to know if the AC Delco part number 10108481, which is for 85-88 350 TPI engines, fits the 1990 fuel rail?

Has anyone ever done this swap? I'm looking for stock replacements because I'm trying to keep the car as original as possible.

Thanks for your help,
Chris

Hi Chris,
The 10108481's are a Lucas design injector and will fit with no modifications needed. They are also much more reliable than the Multecs.
