Warm/Hot Starting Problems/now won't start 1988 formula 350
i have a 1988 formula 350 (32K miles). the car has always had a problem with warm starts. you have to crank for 5 to 8 seconds before it will start. on cold starts it is fine. yesterday it starting to run very rough and died out. i managed to get it started back up to get the car home. now it will not start at all. it will kick over, but then die out. any ideas' on what may be the problem? any help will be appreciated. i

I'd suggest a fuel pressure check. There is a test port toward the rear of the right fuel rail.

I would suggest the same thing.. check for adequate fuel pressure... sounds like a bad fuel pump.
