Biggest injectors??
What is the largest injector I can use in my 91' z-28 TPI with the stock ECM?? I've been told I would have to use some sort of inj. driver past a certain size is this true?

It's not so much the size of the injector, but rather the type. There's 2 types of injectors
Saturated injectors are the ones you have in place now. They have an impedance of around 15 ohms and draw slightly less than 1 amp/injector. Since they are wired in parallel this places a load of around 4 amps/driver (L/R) I see them in very large sizes capable of feeding the largest of street big blocks.
Peak and hold injectors are the 2nd type. They have very low impedance and a high current draw. There is two syles of peak and hold injectors:
2 amp peak, 1 amp hold &
4 amp peak, 2 amp hold
The peak power quickly spikes the injector open and the hold current keeps it open. These are radical in design and overheating and short life can be expected in street duty. They are made for racing. Hooking one of these babies up will fry the computer in short order considering it will require 16 amps/driver to open them. Much more than the stock 4 amps (probably conservative and could go a little higher)
Hope the post helped.
