Grinding down the plenum wall on a 305.Will it hurt/help?

I'd like to know if it's a good idea to take down that wall in the plenum. I'm thinking of doing this since I gotta remove the plenum for the AFPR install.
I'm also putting on TES.
There will be all this extra breathing w/the headers/cat back and "opened" plenum. My question is, is that too much breathing for a 305. Will there be TQ loss at lower RPM. Will there be loss in throtle responce? Please keep in mind that I will not port the plenum/runners and will step up the fuel pressure.
I'd like some advice and/or reasurance.
Thanks to all who respond, in advance.

If you're refering to the two walls in the throttle body openings in the front of the plenum, then hell yes! Thats one of the "free mods" you can do to get more power out of your engine.
