I am gathering up the parts needed to switch to T.P.I. from T.B.I. , my question is are the sending units the same in both TBI and TPI vehicles? I have to drop the tank to put in a high pressure TPI fuel pump so if I need a different sending unit I will know what I need ahead of time.If they are different, is there a high pressure pump that can work on the TBI sending unit without having to hunt down a TPI sending unit?Thanks in advance

 

the sending unit should be fine, but you may want to run an inline pump instead of an intank.

 

will the TBI pump be a restriction?
