last week I pulled off my coil wire and cranked the engine til I got oil pressure then put the wire back on and then no start. so I left the car for afew days thinking I flooded it and still no start..

I changed the coil no good .

I have a trigger pulse going into the coil.
I also bypassed the MSD and no good still!

I had a problem like yours in my 1991 z28. It was the neutral safety switch that is located in the console attach to the shift lever.

If your still using the ignition module, that is what I would check next. I had 1 blow on my Z. I was just driving down the road and it just died. After replacing the coil, cap, roter, wires, and other things, I replace the module. Started like a bat out of hell! Those things are known to die because of heat. Hope that helps!

The starter woulnd't even spin if it was that. His car cranks over, just no spark.
I'd look at that ignition moduele too, it's probably what the problem is.

hey blade, you are correct about it not being the nertual safety switch. My error. Car was cranking and getting power to the starer.

that happened on mine and it was the ignition pickup module, its either that or the ignition module.
