pulsator delete?

I am doing a TPI swap into a g-body.

My sending unit is from a 4.3L Monte. I spliced on wiring from an 88 vette sending unit (TBI pump has diff. wiring)

I used the vette pulsator (friend calls it a "bladder" from the vette unit too.

What does removing it do? Just wondering, based on https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/001636.html

thanks.

Oh... a handy tip on swaps. Get the filter to tank steel & flex lines. Get enough of them and you can reach from the tank to the filter on a longer vehicle w/out running new lines Bending them takes skill to not kink though.

Get rid of the pulsator. Replace it with a piece of high pressure fuel hose. Its just another 'thing' that can go wrong (fall down, bad seal, etc). You don't want to have to drop the tank again.

Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

Here's some more old messages for you:

https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000571.html
https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000586.html
https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/...ML/000135.html

Actually if you click on Search at the top right of the screen, and search this forum for Pulsator, you can find all the old messages. The pulsator's supposed to make the fuel pump run a bit quieter... but hey, F-bodies are supposed to be loud! You can buy new ones, too, if you so choose. I should've used the hose...
