Should I run the new Accel or SVO 19# or 24# on a mostly stock '90 350 IROC? Thanks guys.

 

I would recommend an injector which is rated at 22 or 23#/hr flow rate if rated at the GM pressure for any 350 which is mainly stock or mildly modded. Also, you should install an adjustable fuel pressure regulator when you install new injectors. This will allow you to fine tune the engine performance relative to fuel pressure.

I ran ford 24# on my 99% stock (I have an afpr) 91 z28 with a 350 and it runs perfect, passed emissions, and I get about 17mpg in the city about 23-25mpg on the expressway.

 

Damn. I figured that the SVO's would work out OK, but I went ahead and ordered the Accels (23#). Same price basically, but the Accels are new so I don't know what kind of track record they have. Anyways, thanks for the response and I'll keep that in mind for future injector considerations.
