Fuel injector replacement?

OK guys here's what I have lined out for my injector replacement next week. If you see anything I forgot please let me know:

Accel 23# injectors
Holley AFPR
EGR
EGR gasket
MAT
Fel-Pro plenum gaskets
O-ring set (AC)
Injector retainer clips
Fuel line to rail o-rings
Fuel filter

That's it, am I leaving anything out? Thanks.

Why don't you do a little porting to the plenum while you've got it off.

There are tech articles all over the internet.

I plan on replacing mine tommorow. If I find something that's not on the list I'll let you know. So far all I have is the injectors w/ O-rings, AFPR, and plenum gaskets....I already did the fuel filter so I don't need to do that.

Later,
Jesse

New vacuum lines definitely.

Also, if you ever wanted to swap to aftermarket runners now is the time.

Jethro,

While you have the plenum off and there is plenty of room, you might want to at least install the wiring for a remote MAT sensor. The whole thing will cost you about 20 minutes and another thirty bucks with a sensor, twenty without.

Check this file:
MAT Sensor Relocation.pdf

You remembered the Skoal and PBR, but you should also add a good quality Torx bit (not one of those with the name of some southeast asian country proudly emblazoned on the side) . And I can't believe you didn't mention a can of Never-Seeze between the brew and the snuff.

Don't forget to crack the distributor clamp bolt loose and coat it with anti seize while you have the space to get a real wrench on it.

LOL! Thanks a bunch, Vader. I forgot all about the MAT relocation. My torx bits are Stanley and have held up pretty well so I should be OK in that department (knock on wood). I may need the antiseize for my elbows too .
