Fuel pump and sender question...

I just dropped my tank to replace my fuel pump (pump worked fine, but has 142K miles on it). I want to replace the sender and the pump, but I wanted to install a Walbro pump. I found GM part number 25027221, which is a "fuel sender" and costs $285 from GMPartsdirect.com. For that much money it better include a new GM pump! If just the sender costs $285, someone is raping us. Can anyone confirm this? TIA

GM/Delco fuel tank sending units are extremely overpriced and DON'T come with a pump.
