Will an 88 5.7 work in a 91 TA?

Will an 88 5.7 work in a 91 TA?
Im talking about just the shortblock and heads. My concern is the S.D. VS mass aircombo. I will use the stock S.D. cam but other than that I dont know of any other changes I would need to make.The TA is a 91 5.7 and the engine that is going in is from an 88GTA. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

Engine: 355 TPI siamesed runners
Transmission: Tremec T56
Axle/Gears: 12-Bolt 3.73
The engine and heads are identical. The cam is different, and the TPI intake is slightly different (85-88 vs 89-92 style). But everything will bolt right on.
