subframe connectors
subframe connectors
does those help with snaps, crackles and pops?
i consider that quality of work has been poor or that's fundamental to have those noises in f-body car.
to make it short: will subframe connectors help?? (for sure im not asking bolt one ones)

performance so far been nice to me
but i'm asking feel of quality. if you ever tryed common low class european rides like bmw, audi, volvo or saab you'll notice the difference. my f-body have crackles like it's going to break apart
that's my point?
Your name just kinda gets to me. It seems like you have nothing good to say about the car. I was implying that if you hate it soooo much, you should get something else.
try driving an 87 bmw, audi, volvo, or saab adn there will be no difference. it is called aging. as you get older you will also snap crackle and pop. thank god im still 19.

i havent say nothing bad about f-body. those cracks and pops have been all the examples i've been driving. like i said it's like fundamental thing. body flex a lot and it's not well made. if i place those connecors would those noises go away? just asking.
Any noises related to chasis flex will be greatly reduced or elimated with SFC's. Interior rattles will have to be assessed individually. You might consider registering a new screen name. f-bodysucks is gonna incite riots on an f-body board. Compraste'

this is my last with this nick
staying on the cheapo mode - should i make those by my own? every guy knows how to weld and cut. so 100$ plus freight and taxes of SFC's is kinda cheating. i get plenty of steel with 100$ and i can build new frame for GTA
i make my own and post results with pics for all of you

You can try it, but keep in mind that most SFC's (if not all)or specifically engineered in the shape they are to mount and support in the ways they need to so they make the chassis as stiff as they need to be. In general, yes, supporting the subframe by making your own SFC will work, but you need to read between the lines...that $100 you're saving would pay for the engineering, manufacturing, and hassle of doing it yourself. Usually they add a zinc or powder coating to keep it from rusting too. Just keep this in mind. If you dont have any experience in suspension and chassis, and don't know how they're assembled and why, I'd recommend just buying some and welding them in. Keep in mind ground clearance. Also, subframes are supposed to have some flex (not much), that's the way they're made. The purpose of them is to eliminate un-needed flex, or excessive flex, which hurts suspension characteristics, especially while under load (cornering). SFC's are engineered to give the better balance. Thirdgen's, T-tops and convertibles especially, have too much flex, if you keep the nature of their existence in mind.
These are just a few things to consider.
Unless you're running a full ****-a$$ race course-type deal, you suspension doesn't need to be as hard as a rock. Just firm. I recomend you buy the SFC's. And I also agree, you should change your screen-name...you're setting youself up for some foul play! Not trying to beat you up, just bringing things out into the light.
