There have been several on the forsale board. I scored two at the bone yard. I also got one at the Daytona swap meet last weekend but sold it to someone already.
Seems most fully loaded 89 IROCS got them as a weight saving measure. Thats what both mine came off of.

Third Gen classifieds, or Ebay have them from time to time. The cheapest I have seen them is around $150, but I don't know about boneyards, I guess it depends on the cigar chomper sitting behind the counter and whether he knows the signifigance of an aluminum driveshaft in our cars, or any car for that matter.

Hey just thought I would share, I happened to be on the TPIS site, god knows why, but I noticed in there garage area they are selling one for about $220 I think. I was also looking at the spohn site, and it mentioned something that if you have a lot of power, i'm thinking they're talking 500hp plus but could be wrong, that the weight saving of an alluminum is offset by its structural integrity. They offer ones that are not allum. but are much stronger than OEM shafts and are vibration free for use at high speeds good luck.

LS1.com for sale section, I see them all the time. I picked one up for $110 delivered! It's perfectly balanced and out of a 99 Z28.

I hate those junkyard cigar chompers.
The more excited they see you about your find, the more they jack up the price.
Until you tell them you can get it cheaper at autozone
