I have no idea what is going on with my car? My idle is running between 1500-1700rpms and caughing ( droping 400rpms ) and then jumping up and down between 1500-1700rpms. My vacume is at a steady 20in and no movement of the needle at idle. When i put the car in drive it seems to run fine but when in park at a stop light the car jumps or caughs from 1200rpms to 700rpms and runs irratic? HElP. PLEASE

I would say it is the pick ups in your control module on the distributor, mine did the same thing until I changed the control module.

IAC, TPS? Have you adjusted them lately? Maybe fully cleaned them out? General tune up?
