Cold Low RPM Miss

Here's the problem: When my 305 MAF motor is cold it starts and runs okay but when I start to go it has a horrid miss, but once I get above about half throttle the miss magically disappears until I let off again. When the vehicle is warmed up it doesn't do this. I replaced the EGR with a happy block off plate thinking this was my problem, but it wasn't. It has a very recent tune-up, cleaned fuel injectors and oxygen sensor. By the way it doesn't throw any codes. Help please. Thanks

From what I hear when you block the EGR for some it throws codes, for some it doesn't. I can't explain it. I also pulled the EGR solenoid and rerouted the vacuum lines to eliminate that also, maybe that has something to do with it, I really don't know.

You check all your ignition components? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coil, etc? Timing? sounds like lack of spark in a cylinder, maybe...sometimes bad wires work better than others, just because of the temperature. They expand and get better contact, etc...not common, but it does happen. That would explain the stumble under load, but not at idle. I had this problem.
