It blows goats. Installation sux. Painless is NOT for factory replacement, like you intend. I have personally used them to retrofit my LG4 to TPI, and if I had to do it again, Painless would be the LAST option.
Granted, it is an EXCELLENT harness, IF its a "Hot Rod" or other "custom" application. But if you are converting your Carbed or TBI F-body to TPI, its a "stock" conversion, and YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!!!!!!

I'm upgrading my 1980 to TPI. I was considering going with painless, only beacause the wiring harness i have now doesn't mark the injectors!! If not painless, what harness should I go with? Painless is pretty expensive, too

1988 Iroc-Z L98, MSD 6a, Accel coil, K+N's, Airfoil, Coolant Bypass, Flowmaster, Gears, Late model Bose, I like the 80 better

As for Painless, they misnamed their product, it should have been Painful Wiring.
You may want to try these guys.

I heard they are pretty good and will work with you if you have diffrent mods like trans.
Hope it helps.
