quick speedo operation q...

I have a 1987 Iroc 350 tpi with a 700-r4. Does my car have a cable driven speedo or an electronicaly crontrolled one via the ecm? thanks.

85 was the last year for cable driven speedo's, so yours is electric.

I did some more searching on this subjejct. This link doesn't agree, and says camaros are cable driven until '90.
