hei ignition

hey guys i came across an hei ignition for a 1990 5.0 chevy if I'm not wrong thats the 305 I was wondering If i could use this hei On my 1989 5.7 350

so i am asking if i can use the hei ignition for a 1990 5.0 on a 1989 5.7

i am going to put it in as soon as i can get the wire that goes to the tack and the other hott lead.
