Question for people with 87 TPI and SLP Runners
Question for people with 87 TPI and SLP Runners
Well, It might be the same set up on other cars also. What I got is a 87 TPI V-belt system with SLP runners and on the stud that goes on the right front lower runner that the Altanator bracket mounts to will not go all the way down with the SLP runners it hit's the side of the runner. I've trid grinding the stud some but it still hit's and if I grind any more I won't beable to get a wrench around it. There's not even enough clearence for a s****et wrench to fit between the runner and bolt. Did anyone else have this problem? If so what did you use?

I made a spacer to go between the slp runner and the alt bracket. Then I purchased and allen head bolt and threaded in no problem. The problem that I had was if I didn't use the spacer the bracket tightened down at an angle putting it in a bind.
