Q-jet to TPI
I'm doing a swap from CC-Carb to TPI. Since I am doing a full motor swap I am wondering If I need to replace the all the fuel lines. The new motor is from an '88 IROC and the fuel lines run on the drivers side for the car. The car I am putting the motor in is an '86 IROC that was carbed. The fuel lines run on the passenger side of the car. Both motors are 305ci.
My question is can my stock lines hold the pressure of the new fuel pump and would I be able to run SS braided line from the passenger side of the car to the drivers side instead of running all new fuel lines?? Or would it be better to just run all new lines?? I know I need to put an in-line filter. I'm just looking for the most practical solution. Any help would be great.
