while the car is at idle lightly tap the housing of the maf if the engine stumbles your maf is burning out.also check the tps just because you're getting the right voltage at idle doesn't mean that it's correct at off idle open the throttle blades with the engine off and check the tps voltage at w.o.t if i'm not mistaken it should go to 4.0 but check this sight i'm sure there's something on it.
I had that problem for a while too. Mine was real easy though, i had bad plugs or wires. I did a complete tune up including wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and even the coil. One of those things fixed the problem. Im not really sure wich because i did them all at the same time.

I had all kind of problems like this. I replaced practically everything. Turned out it was a bad connections at the TPS. The computer wasn't getting the voltage reading from the TPS all the time. Mine threw a TPS code a few times, but I couldn't figure it out. It was a bent prong on the connector. I'd check this for sure!! I ended up hooking a scanner up and seeing that the TPS volta would be at 0 sometimes!! Hope this maybe helps!
*TAp your MAF like they said also, and do a tuneup (plugs/wires/cap/rotor/fuel filter/etc) This helped mine a ton.

I had an odd experience with this on a friend's '89 IROC...the thing would stunble like hell...use my air hood and MAF...no fix...my relays and IAC...no fix..reset the TPS...no fix...turns out I checked the TPS at the sensor and it was .54 at idle, 4.35 at WOT. BUT I connected a scan tool and it only showed .8 something at the sensor (wierd it didn't set a code...maybe the intake mods)Keep in mind the computer was telling me the .8 figure. Since it was .54 at the TPS, I can only assume that there is a voltage loss somewhere between the TPS and ECM...I ended up replacing the connector. If you can, get a GM Tech 1 or something like that to read the ECM, it helps. Hope this helps someone...
