There's a Pontiac engine builder's special mag out right now and it has a very rare '88 GTA vert in it. Has a 406sbc, TPiS miniram, AFR's, custom cam, all the goodies, stall, and 3.73's and runs 11 flat on motor and 10.2's on the bottle!!!

Thats cool and those are good results, but what I think is that every1 shouldn't keep switching their stock engines for others to go fast, unless they need a new engine. U don't have to have that big of an engine to go that fast, work with what u have and make it work for u. Look at that 9 sec. 305 TPI in the other post, and other cars with modded stock engines that are in 10's-12's without doing that.

I'd like to see them do a buildup of an LB9 or an L98 in a Third Gen already, no switching engines. If u have a 350 u have more than enough to get results like that, and thats what I will be doing. Get modding!!
