Questions about idle on my car with the MAF setup.

Ok, here goes. The car idles around 775-900. It fluctuates. The car seems to run ok other than that and it throws a code 33(either a corroded connector or i am maxing out the MAF sensor). But anyways, with all of the mods that the car have, should it idle fairly reasonable? The cam isn't that big. The car seems to vibrate/shake alot at idle.

Just trying to figure out if that is normal? I would like the idle to be steady and consistant. I'm going to SD soon(like i'm sure you've seen all of my other 2398756325 posts about it). So is the problem i'm having a miss in the engine? mechanical problem? or just the nature of the beast?
The prom is fairly stock... 89arap base, with some manual timing table.. I should alter it alot more but an going to the SD.. so i haven't.

Brendan,

I can't remember the MAF system too well but is the Code 33 signify that the airflow is too low? If so, alter the MAF vs. RPM (diag) table in TunerCat.

Gunning for NA 11's with bigger cam, bigger stall, and bigger exhaust.

Thats what code 33 is. However, he shouldnt have to modify that table unless there is a problem with the car. I have more cam than that, and didnt mess with that table at all.
Check to make sure there are no vacuum leaks anywhere, that is more than likely the problem unless the MAF, relays, or wiring is bad. Since you are already running the 89 bin, the TPS setting shouldnt be affecting it setting the code 33, the parameters are setup better than the earlier MAF bins.
