Last couple questions about TPI swap (hopefully)

Hi again, I have a two last (hopefully) questions about my TPI swap. One, will the plug wires I have now fit, or do I need to get longer ones? Two, what water/heater hoses get connected to where? There are a bunch of ports on the TB I have no idea where to connet to. Where does the hose coming off the water pump go? Thanks. By the way, car is an 87 Trans Am LG4.

Brian

Hey,
Your plug wires should fit ok.
This is a accurate as my memory can make it without a picture or going out to my car so bear with me.....
The larger port on the t-body side is for coolant, it goes to the heater bypass valve.
The port on the bottom front of the t-body is the feed to that coolant port- it is connected to a coolant port on the front of the manifold. the little port on the underside of the TB is for vacuum- a t connects directly to this, it goes to a couple differnt places; to a T by the charcoal canister and to a thing on the back of the engine (i don't know exactly what is is).
The port on the top passenger side of the TB is for a hose that goes to the valve cover, it is part of the egr i think. The last port on the that side of the TB is for vacuum to the charcoal canister, like the other one but bigger and direcly to it.
The radiator hose coming from the water neck on the manifold goes to the top of the radiator- diver's side on mine. the water pump hose goes to the passenger side lower port of the radiator.
I think that's it.
good luck

ok the info above isnt exact. ok the water pump hose gets removed and plugged. on the front of the throttle body, there is a u shaped hose that goes from the front of the throttle body to the intake. then on the side of the throttle body, the top port goes to the passenger side valvecover breather tube, the middle port goes to the large tube on the charcoal canister, and the bottom port is coolant to the heater core. the other heater core tube goes to a port on the passenger side of the radiator that should be plugged off stock. if your radiator dont have it, just go from the water pump to the heatercore, then heatercore to side bottom throttle body. then front of tb, to the front intake. if your radiator does not hav the port, you may want to look into buying onr that does.
