Air Intake Temp Sensor
Well this past weekend I took off my plenum for the first time, to change the EGR valve and didn't notice the AIT sensor plugged in underneath. Needless to say I broke the connector when I pulled off the plenum. GM wants $30 for a new sensor which is no great hardship, but does anyone know of a cheaper fix? Everything seems to be fine except for the plastic 2 pin male housing that plugs into the plenum.

Yeah that's what I thought...but I took it to O'Reilly's and they looked at it like it was a piece of alien hardware.

go to pep boys. they usually have stuff like that. or you could go to your local salvage yard. it is the same connector as the coolant temp sensor. almost all fuel injected chevy's of the 80's and 90's have one of those. plus the v-6 camaros have one in the air cleaner housing. i see plenty of v-6 camaros and firebirds in the yards around here.
