86 throttlebody on a 90-92 plenum butttt!!!

ok the plenum I have is a 90-92 piece but where its throttlebody mounts that area has been opened from 2 holes to like 1 huge hole .... so will the 86 throttle body work fine cause I notice a air passage in the middle of the 86 throttlebody.

Yes, in that case, the '86 throttle body should work. The reason why the early throttle bodies typically require a matching early plenum is because the IAC supply, located between the two throttle bores (and slightly below), has to have a matching hole in the plenum. Since that whole area is removed on the late plenum that you have (the plenum must be setup for one of those mono-blade throttle bodies), you'll still have IAC supply. Go for it!

Think I'm just going to skip polishing and putting the 86 stock throttle body on this system anyways since it's not really suited for this TPI since everything else is setup for a larger throttle body anyways.
