question about cams in the tech articles

at the bottom of that page are the stock gm cams
i noticed the specs on the one for the
88-89 305 and 350 are
207/213 0.415/0.430 is that correct for a stock LB9 from the factory? o is it weaker? i noticed the 87 cam looks terible

We really dont know yet... The leading theory right now is the 87-89 305 TPI automatic cars have the "terrible cam" as you called it. We call it the peanut cam. But I dont know of anyone who has measured their 87-89 305 TPI automatic cam yet. The 305 5-speed and 350 automatic get the 207/213 cam in 88-89.

I'll be pulling out my 305 to swap in a 355 in a couple weeks. I'll be tearing down the engine to see how it looks after 131k miles, of which 60k miles have been run with Mobil 1 oil.
I'll measure the cam specs the best I can and report back.
