TPI virgin needs info

I have recently gotten my first third gen.F-body.love the car, needs more power, its an LB9 and its stock except for the K&N drop in filter and a RHYNO cat back,I'm going to put a set of headers and larger Y-pipe and either a gutted or high flow cat.where should I go from there?all of my previouse toys being carburated and I don't want to carb this one,the TPI system is way to good to look at.any information you veterans have to share will be apreciated.

well since you want to pop your cherry depends how you want it. you can do a cam that will run well of the stock tune, better gears/posi(if you dont have one), maybe port your heads or buy a new set, etc etc list goes on depends on how much more you want out of it and how much youre looking to spend.

Basically, everything you can do to a carb motor, you can do to this motor. Just some of the parts will have different names.

Changing jets=changing fuel injectors(and the prom chip)
Adjust timing= adjust base timing
changing your vac advance timing=redoing the prom chip
going from a 600cfm carb to 750cfm=larger throttle body

tell us what you want to do, and we will tell you the EFI name.

well some of the reading I have been doing I will definatly be going with the hooker 2055 headers and y-pipe,then a high flow or gutted cat.then I was thinking an L98 cam,22lb injectors and a holley 52mm tb,and while I was at it port the stock intake system, should be able to pick up a few hp with that.maybe a set of march pullies and a programer of some type.found a low millage 4th gen rear with 3:42's,unsure of using one because I want to use the stock wheels.I like to keep my cars as stock looking as possible.
