What else do I need for a swap

I bought an entire 305 TPI engine from someone, with the computer, harness and everything. My car currently has a 305 TBI in it. I was wondering what else is required to be changed to make the car run. It is out of an 88 fbody just like mine. And where can I find an air intake for the car as well, Don't want to go with the OEM setup.

Re: What else do I need for a swap

Read the tech article on swapping a TBI to a TPI, that will give you an idea of where to start.
You dont have to use the wire harness, you can repin the one you have, if you are up to it.
You'll definitely need to drop the fuel tank and install a high pressure fuel pump.
Do a search of these forums and you'll find lots of posts over the years to help you out if you get stuck. If this is your first major project, I highly recommend finding a friend with experience to help you. This isnt something you can do in an hour or two. It'll take a day or two, or three.

I know my way around cars pretty good, but this is just the first time dealing with a TPI system. The person I bought the setup from is the one doing all the work, but I will probably have to do the fuel pump portion. Thanks for your help with this.
