Off the wall question...
I'm lookin for an Outerwear/Prefilter wrap for a K&N filter that mounts directly on a TPI throttle body. The filter I have is a K&N RC-5000.
K&N doesn't list a Precharger for it. I emailed K&N and also Outerwears performance just a few minutes ago but thought I might get a quicker answer here.
Thanks

Re: Off the wall question...
Why do you want a PreCharger? All you would be doing is filtering a filter!
Just wondering.

Re: Off the wall question...
Pantyhose isn't a bad idea, but it probably wouldn't work for my application.
My original plan was to use a TPI K&N filter on my 4 wheeler...(Modified Yamaha 660 Raptor).
The TPI filter is about 1/2 price compared to the K&N made to fit a Raptor, and since mine has bigger carbs than stock the Raptor K&N doesn't fit very good.
Since I've posted this thread I've went ahead and built a filter adapter so I can use the Raptor filter. The inlet on the TPI filter wasn't quite big enough to clear the carbs anyway.
